URBAN INTRODUCTION FORUM
A WORLDWIDE SOURCE OF THE CITIES IN THE VARIOUS CATEGORIES
Important Note:
To register and present a city within the 2A Center of Paragon City, it is mandatory to first obtain membership in the UNESCO Club of Architecture and Art. This membership serves as the foundational step before continuing with registration in the Paragon City platform. Once this membership is confirmed, applicants may proceed with full registration and participation in the Urban Interaction Forum.
Paragon City Goals as an Urban Interaction Forum
- To highlight and present valuable characteristics of cities, creating a distinctive profile by registering them as Paragon Cities.
- To categorize and officially register cities and publish them as globally recognized independent references.
A key objective of the Paragon City – Urban Interaction Forum is to create a platform where urban professionals, city managers, scholars, and citizens can share their experiences and knowledge in managing and developing cities. Topics may range across a wide array of urban challenges including environmental sustainability, transportation systems, public safety and security, cultural vitality, economic development, and more.
This Forum represents an innovative, global initiative promoting knowledge-sharing and interaction among city administrations, urban thinkers, and municipal organizations. It highlights the role of urban space in fostering balanced, peaceful, compassionate, and innovative lifestyles.
Presentation of Diverse and Significant Cities Around the Globe
Recognition of outstanding cities is based on defined criteria published by the 2A Center of Paragon City.
Each year, a Prominent List of Paragon Cities will be compiled and presented globally. This list will serve as a unique global reference for city innovation and progress within the framework of the Urban Interaction Forum.
Submission Notes:
Note 1:
Research and case studies can be presented on different urban scales including neighborhood units, city districts, full cities, and metropolitan areas.
Note 2:
Each submission is evaluated based on a system of defined qualities and assigned coefficients. Final assessments will be scored and cities will be selected as Paragon Cities based on these systematic evaluations.
Note 3:
Upon approval, the selected city will be added to the Prominent List as a member of the Urban Interaction Forum. The city’s representative will be presented with a Certificate of Recognition and the Paragon City Symbolic Sign (City Memorial Board).
Note 4:
The selected cities will be honored annually during the Paragon City Ceremony. Their names will also be published in 2A Magazine, on the official website, and through various global media outlets.
Note 5:
A large-scale version of the Paragon City’s Symbolic Sign may be produced and installed in a prominent urban space within the selected city, serving as a permanent and visual representation of its distinction.
